I went to a Scenic information night in Sydney and was impressed with the overall presentation and information received. I booked my cruise on that night.
My only disappointment was that when booking my cruise an excursion to Cesky Krumlov was on the itinerary but was not included when the final ititnerary was given to us. The excursion to Salzburg was the alternate one which was probably the best of the cruise. We had a tour of Salzburg and then taken 'up the hill' for lunch and a 'Sound of Music' concert. Very enjoyable. Our tour guide Eva was very entertaining. Top marks for the day.
Our ship, Scenic Pearl, was tip top. As were staff from the captain down.
Cabin Review
We had everything we required in the cabin except a little more space. But understandably 'cosy' to fit all in. Plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Bathroom facilities good. The verandah was excellent and to be able to sit out there with the window down was a plus. Also we left the verandah door open at night which at that time of year was enough to have fresh air during the night and not be too hot. Otherwise air conditioning was on all the time.
