This was our first time on an Oasis class ship after more than 20 years of being an RCI cruiser. I was not disappointed. The ship was very clean. Cleverly designed. Everyone was friendly. Even though there was something like 6,000 passengers, it never felt crowded embarkation and leaving the ship was always a breeze compared to some other ships, despite the number of people on board. Only on the last sea day did we feel the true crowds as most people were on the top deck.
Our room was spacious enough and clean.
LOVED the itinerary! Unlike boring, similar stops in the Caribbean where you are immediately greeted by overly-aggressive merchants hawking junk at the pier, our stops were in these beautiful places and cities. Every day was an adventure off the ship! Mallorca. Marseilles. A day trip to Rome. A day in the Cinque Terre towns on the coast and our own privately-arranged tour of Pompeii (the highlight for sure! I would not recommend the ship's tours. Costly and frankly too large. We were glad we paid the money for our own tours and arranged our own transportation). Even Barcelona was a great place to have arrived the day before. In the Caribbean, we rarely get off the ship now. But on this cruise, it was every day! great fun.
Clean, larger than some. Well designed. Always kept clean by our cabin steard
