Ocean view room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable, room very quiet. Usually do not sleep well on vacation but slept soundly. Food was excellent both in main dining room, pool, and Lido buffet; service was also excellent. Chose this cruise because we wanted to relax and have a more quiet, elegant feel vs. a loud party boat with children running around unsupervised. This cruise caters to an older crowd and we were among the youngest guests (50's), but we traveled with friends and had fun. We planned all of our own excursions in advance, enjoyed the private beach cabana at Amber Cove. Ship and all public restrooms throughout VERY clean. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth; do not check luggage on final day, bring it with you and disembark with out waiting or searching in main terminal for it. Husband's suitcase was damaged at beginning of cruise and ship repaired it during trip without charge. We would definitely cruise this line again.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)
Used Marisol tours for private tour of Dominican Republic. Toured Brugal Rum factory, a cigar factory, handmade amber and lapis factory, downtown square, church,
beach, fort, shopping, and cable car ride to top of mountain. Loved the opportunity to see the country and the people.
Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
Easy to get to via taxi, door to door basically. Cruise line help a little rough with the luggage, damaged my husband's suitcase which was repaired on ship during cruise.
Half Moon Cay
Bring cash as local vendors do not accept credit cards. Booked private cabana on beach, included: floating mats, snorkel equipment, cold drinks, snacks, refrigerator, fans, table, chairs, lounges, outdoor shower, everything we needed, would do it again.
Way better than lounge chair in hot sun crammed in with others.
