Having cruised on Azamara and Celebrity previously, we chose this cruise because of its 7 day itinerary. The Pros: Embarkation and debarkation were very smooth. Our cabin attendant was great. First night's dinner in the MDR was very good. The bartenders, particularly those at the 4th floor bar, were terrific Breakfast at the MDR was excellent. Dinners at Chops and Izumi were great. Our one excursion through the ship was in Riga and it was very good. We enjoyed all of the musicians who performed in the Centrum The Cons: * The ship is tired. We loved the Celebrity Equinox last year - it just sparkled. This ship was missing the "sparkle" * There should NOT be smoking allowed in the casino. We cut our evenings short because it became very uncomfortable in there. * The Internet, which they claim is terrific, is awful. We did complain at Guest Services and were treated rudely. This was an expensive service and we just did not get what we were paying for. * Breakfast in Windjammer very chaotic, with guests having to queue for coffee, and people cutting in line. * Could not get someone to take our drink orders in the MDR and ended up leaving the table to go to bar to bring it back to the table. One night we waited almost 15 minutes to give drink order and another almost 15 minutes to get a glass of wine delivered. When we asked where it was the waiter gave a very snippy answer. * There needs to be at least one US news channel. We felt very disconnected, especially with poor internet. CNN was British and there were 4-5 Swedish channels. * Valuable window seating is used on the fifth floor near the Latte-tudes coffee bar for the Next Cruise desk. This spot would be lovely for some lounge chairs by the windows to listen to the music from the 4th floor piano or guitar and surely there is room somewhere not by a window spot for the desk. * Snacks.. Only place for food between 5-6:30 is the Park Cafe, near the pool. On a bad weather day (we had many) it's cold and damp there. And, the choices are limited and the line is very long. A place near a lounge with cheese, crackers and a vegetable platter would be great, especially if you dine later than 6pm. We were hungry when we returned from our long excursions and ended up in our cabin eating snacks we had brought. * Leaving the ship for our private tour was not managed well. No advance notice on where to queue and how long it would take.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8056
The cabin was adequate; it was small. but there is tons of storage. You just can't open the closet and bathroom door at the same time! The other issue is that there is no clock, and no outlet near bed for a phone charger.
