I eagerly anticipated this cruise on the new Norwegian Escape and it didn't disappoint. The embarkation and disembarkation was smooth and easy. The Escape is beautifully appointed, and it appeared more open and inviting than I have experienced in the past. The entertainment included amazing Broadway quality shows and musical reviews. I ate in a different venue each night - all provided excellent food quality & service. My cabin was very comfortable and had a pleasing décor, I slept so well! I went on the ship tour and found it fascinating, it involved lots of stairs but is well worth it for anyone who enjoys learning about "behind the scenes"! The food variety was excellent in all venues. On deck 8 there is an outside promenade which gives you a choice of eating dinner inside or you can sit outside in the open air, several bars also offer the inside/outside option. It is so refreshing to sit out in the open air and enjoy a fine dinner. The shore excursion variety was great. My best shore excursion was the Canopy Zip Line on Tortola, a big thank you to Shibon, Ralph, Denzel and Jamol for making this the best experience ever. After the tour, Ralph drove us around the island with a stop where we had a 360 degree view of the islands surrounding Tortola. wow. The Escape features an aqua park and a rope course on the upper deck which is a must - it even includes zip-lines out over the water!! FYI: Parking at the Port of Miami runs $20 a night - the parking garages are convenient to the ship.

Family Oceanview Stateroom with Large Picture Window

Cabin O2

Good layout with lots of storage area. Comfortable bed and couch, loved the forward facing window - no balcony but a great view entering the ports. The color scheme was neutrals and very soothing and relaxing. Very nice bathroom area. Located forward which made for a long walk to the elevators.
