New ship. Long history of success with River Cruises. Not so much with ocean cruising. Ship rocked a lot on open ocean; enough to wake us and make walking difficult. Cabin was minimalistic but room for hanging and storing clothing and luggage was enough. Food was very good overall. Sometimes had a slow go of it when excursions were leaving early. Entertainment was average to poor. The servers were very good. Excursion desk was not as helpful; same for concierge. Monies for this trip were paid in full over a year in advance as required by the company. That is unacceptable. Ports and were very good. Shore excursions as given by the line were mostly walking so we spent much more to see sites away from the ship. At times, the line to reboard the ship after the excursion was almost an hour in very warm weather. They did give us water and cold towels but should have allowed us to stay on the air conditioned bus until it was our turn to board. They did allow the very elderly or those having medical issues to board immediately but that was after the fact. Yes, they are a new line. No, they do not have it together yet.
