It was a repeat trip on the ship and itinerary. Being new to this cruise business, we stayed in our comfort zone and did not regret it.
The Navigator had been recently re-done, was very clean and sparkling and had some good upgrades. Our balcony cabin served our purposes well even though we didn't really spend much waking time in it. The balcony did provide for some great morning coffee time and evening relax time. Don't go without a balcony unless you plan to spend virtually ALL your awake time out and about on the ship.
Service from all involved was again Excellently Outstanding. All took took the time to acknowledge you, tried to remember you, and worked for and with you to make sure you have a good time. They succeed from steward to waiter to bartender, entertainers, and all the crew. Minimal comments about the food: OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY. And I'm a foodie and they tolerated and served beyond expectations all while entertaining and interacting.
Our ports were repeats so we knew a bit more about what to do and not to do. George Town is a great place to do the town and skip the excursions. Great sights, stores, eateries, easy to get around, friendly folks willing to help, point and answer questions and even some history to take advantage of.
Falmouth has limited options unless you want to travel a bit and be active. Not too much for the sedate interested in culture, history and regular life.
Cozumel, is Cozumel. Plenty of options with a GREAT coffee shop across the street from the port exit/entrance. A lot of varied options to choose from too from calm, learning experiences to wear-you-out active longing for the ship and hot tub. ANNNNND then there is the shopping. Go for it. Great eateries along the strip too.
In and out of Galveston is quite easy which adds to this option being good for beginners. Or repeat versions like us.
Royal is a great option and deserving of its high reputation and, to us, well worth the cost.
Comfortable, well appointed, plenty big for two. Good amount of storage and ALWAYS well cleaned and stocked. The balcony was great. No more time than we spent in it; it was perfect in every way.
Great informative tour related to history and culture of Mexico. Not a lot of activity but most interesting with miniature recreations of multiple famous sites of Mexico. Food options as well. Low key but a learning experience.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Very informative with highly knowledgeable guides who also entertained. An education on Belize City and its history and background.View All 93 City Tour Reviews
Some good options beside snorkeling at the "island" included good options for flora and fauna. The snorkeling was OK to one who had been before but just right to the newbie. Easy in and easy out with plenty of fish and coral options.View All 345 Snorkeling Reviews
