This was such a fabulous, fun cruise, and the Spirit is a great ship. I've seen reviews of people criticizing the heck out of the boat, and I cannot see how you can be that negative. Have a Margarita and enjoy the happy, great things!

New Orleans: Spent two days there at the JW Marriott. Loved NOLA. As far as restaurants, almost anything you find is great. We wandered around the French Quarter, then took the green Trolley car out to the Garden District. Wow! Gorgeous, historic mansions- worth seeing! You can get off near the end of the line at Audubon Park, which has fountains, a zoo, and nice plants/trees. The ride is fun.

Sunday, we checked out of the hotel at 12N, and gave our luggage to the Bellman. (Note: Doormen/bellmen at JW Marriott were EXCELLENT! Helpful and great!) We then went to Cafe Du Monde for beignets and coffee.. not to be missed, an iconic NOLA experience. Shopped the French Market, stopped in Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville store, then trolleyed back to hotel. Took a short cab ride (with all the luggage) to the ship terminal.

Very far forward, further to walk to dining rooms. Quiet. Excellent room steward (Benji). Loved the balcony. Lots of storage.
