We have sailed on several cruise lines, this was our fourth on NCL and our first on a larger ship. WOW! My concerns about being crowded, not getting good service, average food...were gone after the first day. This is the best cruise I have been on to date. Nine days and a large ship is what attracted me, I was not disappointed at all! We booked a spa mini suite which was very nice. Our room steward was Joanna and she could not have been better...all request were addressed in a timely manor with a smile. I found every member of the crew to be engaging and pleasant, from the janitorial staff to the captain. I had several conversations with officers and was very impressed with their relay of information.

The service at bars and restaurants were attentive and personable. Only negative, the Ship ran out of B&B....how disappointing....oh well!!! Food was at times over salted but overall very good. The only dining venue that was disappointing was Ocean Blue. To me not worth the extra cost. Food was on par with the Ship but I don't need servers explaining what I ordered or over checking that everything is ok...I expected a knock out meal delivered with confidence and didn't get it. The noodle bar is exceptional do not overlook this venue. We also visited Cagney's, Le Bistro, La Cucina, Manhattan room, Taste, Savor, O'Sheehans, and Uptown Grill, all were good. The bar tenders were very attentive, a special shout out to Elliot at Maltings....Nice guy and professional...made our experience easy.

Our spa mini suite was a good size....yes the balcony was tiny....sufficient enough for two to sit or gaze. The bed, I found, quite hard even with a foam top added. There was plenty of space for my stuff and my wife's options and 20 pairs of shoes! Bathroom was large and the shower is really something. Large, waterfall, spray jets, and spa toiletries were a welcome oasis after a day at sea.
