Wife and I departed on 9 night cruise (our longest yet) from Baltimore, MD. The transfer from the Airport to the Cruise Terminal was easy and cost us just $35 total including tip to the driver. We did not prearrange this at all, just grabbed a shuttle in the Airport right by baggage claim. We appreciated the smaller check-in process at a smaller terminal, there are some real advantages.

Dining only received 4 stars due to the quality of food at the Windjammer Buffet. At times the food was not appealing at all and flavorless and cold on most instances. Additionally, the options to grab a quick snack without have to go thru the Buffet shenanigans were very limited (no grab and go sandwiches, Pizza, etc.) that we have grown accustomed to on other RC cruises.

Entertainment was awesome on all accounts, except for the Singers/Dancers on board the ship. The costumes were dated and the performers were not energetic on most instances. The Entertainment High Points were an Impersonator, an Impressionist, 2 different Stand-up Comics and the Las Vegas Tenors. The Cruise Director staff always had something going on as well such as the Love and Marriage Gameshow or the Quest. The wife and I were really impressed.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

My wife and I shared a cabin on the FWD end of the ship on the port side located close to the R-Bar and main Centrum Area.

The Cabin received only 3 stars due to the alignment of the door and light continuously shined in on 4 spots from the passageway despite several evident efforts to correct it in the past. (i.e. there was some sort of tape material along the non-hinged side to mask it.)

Despite what some reviews have stated, we thought the bathroom was adequate and the size was all well utilized.

Additionally, the room was quiet and no noise could be hear from our room ever.

Port Reviews

Nassau

The City was very busy with a Disney and Carnival Ship already in port when we arrived at 2pm. Must different that a few years ago; it seemed that most workers didn't even approach us or care we were there. Maybe they already made there money from the other 2 larger ships.
