Enjoyable cruise for my wife and I. But, not up to RCCL's usually very high standards. The ship is older (1996) than most in the fleet. However, it was very well maintained. Embarkation and debarkation were both quick and easy. The cabins were clean and well kept. The cabin steward was professional and attentive. The Main Dining Room was what you would expect from Royal Caribbean. The food, service and ambiance were solid. Enjoyed one dinner at the Chops Grille specialty restaurant. The meal, service and surroundings were significantly greater than the Main Dining Room. The Chops experience was a special treat. It was worth doing once for something different. Not sure it would be worth the added expense to frequent this restaurant more often. Used the gym on board. Limited equipment and hard to access. But, well maintained. The Schooner Bar made the voyage. The friendliness of the staff (ask for Myra at the bar and Ana as the server) made us feel welcome. Ana (different from the Server) warmed up the audience with piano only playing. We appreciated her grace and style. Chester was the main performer. He incorporated R&B to increase the variety from the usual Billy Joel / Elton John playlist. Two significant drawbacks. First, the muster drill is still being done with pen and paper. The guest were lined up in tight military formation. The crew was less than courteous during the process. I'm not a fan of muster drills in general. But, this was one of the worst I've experienced. The other issue was food service. Being a smaller ship, I expect fewer options. But, the Windjammer kept inconsistent hours and was closed during the Coco Cay day. Unless you were taking a tender to the island, it was difficult to find food on the ship. Overall, Enchantment delivered what we expected. A relaxing long weekend.
Standard. No significant problems. Cabins are small but functional.
