Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We like to escape our Australian winter, but to go to the Carribbean we need to avoid the hurricane weather and Royal Caribbean is the only line that goes to the Southern Caribbean during May. Having sailed with Oceania previously, we were a little apprehensive about RCI, but while the food wasn't brilliant, it was OK. Except there was wa....ay too much of it. Americans serve wa...ay too much and it was a nutritionist's nightmare, but the clientele was almost all American. Cabin was good, the vibe was very friendly and the entertainment was good. We chose MyTime dining and the service was excellent from the young man from Goa. The service in the rooms was outstanding from Patricia. We wld certainly travel with RCI again.

One curious thing. I joined a group of cruising ladies online, but I never heard from then. It was OK as we met quite a few ppl.

We judged the hurricane season just right. After we disembarked we had 5 days in Ft Lauderdale and Houston and the morning we flew out it began to pour!

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Bigger bathroom than Oceania. I liked the arrangement of bed, next to Windows.
