This was our first cruise and we were not disappointed. What a fabulous ship! We had not really been interested in cruising in the past as most ships looked more suited to younger cruisers, or like floating clubs, but Viking has changed all that. This ship embodies the best of Scandinavian design.

Rooms were quite spacious....even heated floors in the bathrooms, and all rooms have balconies. The various restaurants on board were great with no trouble booking tables. Even the main restaurant was an eye opener with a resident sushi chef, beautiful fresh seafood and even gelato made on board. Wine is included free with lunch and dinner. It's not first growth Bordeaux but pleasant quaffing wine.

The movement on and off the ship was slick and very security conscious. The included shore excursions were wonderful and quite comprehensive.
