We really enjoyed cruising the Mediterranean on the new Carnival Vista. The ships was fantastic with lots of things to do. We loved the Sky Ride, Sky Walk Ropes Course, Imax, Thrill Theater, and the Water Works area. We had to drag the kids away each time we had to head for dinner. We have been on a few Carnival cruises now and this had the best food by far, especially the breakfast options. My daughter was addicted to Guys Burgers and the pizza. We tried the specialty dinner places and both the steakhouse and Italian were worth it, but would skip the Asian specialty restaurant next time. The itinerary was great, and Barcelona is now one of our favorite places in the world. My only gripes are with that the Theater where the shows are (Liquid Lounge) has horrible seating with bad views unless you get there early for a seat up front, which are uncomfortable. The Seafood Shack area at the back of the boat is good, but not worth the extra money, and you had to wait way too long at the bars for drinks. Not sure why they have can soda's which take a lot longer for the bartenders to serve. Carnival should install the Coke Variety Self Service machines like they now have in upscale fast food restaurants. We used Italy Tour Sharing for our excursions in Italy and they were awesome to work with.
What a great city. So much to see and do.
We loved Pompeii and definitely recommend. It was hot in July so bring water.
A great walking city with a beautiful seaside and cool shops along the hillside.
Sorrento is a beautiful seaside city.
Neat little town to walk around.
