We had sailed on Crystal Serenity previously on the Baltic cruise and had a great time. The crew seemed overworked and stretched and unfriendly. One waitress was rather rude when I requested for just hot water and honey and some slices of lemon for a bad throat. Food was not up to expectations - the buffet spread in Lido deck was so so. We had looked forward to dining at the Silk Road - the sashimi was not fresh and the quality seemed to be compromised. The soup came out lukewarm and salty. Food in Prego was also not great - again, too salty and the quality seemed lacking. Shore excursions were boring. Fortunately the entertainment on most nights was quite good. The internet was patchy. The guy manning the help desk at the Computer room was hostile and rude and impatient when we approached him for help. What was good - the Trident Grill delivered. Our butler was always very polite and willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs and our room was well taken care of by our room's housekeeper. We probably will not pay so much for a cruise again. Crystal charged 6 stars' prices but did not deliver. Very very disappointed.
