We chose RCI because we like the quality and standard of their service. We left from Venice which we had never been too we got in early and were able to explore the city prior to boarding. we found getting from Marco Polo airport to the cruise port very, very, very easy, we purchased our tickets for the ATVO bus at the airport while we waited for our baggage, comfortable air conditioned bus, no stops went directly to the bus terminal in front the People Mover,(which we had read about) and luggage storage place. There was no one at the People Mover we purchased our tickets for later, stored our luggage and set off to explore Venice. Got lost in Venice and so when we finally got back to the People Mover we were exhausted!!! Got our luggage, jumped on the People Mover and had to lug our luggage all the way to RCI luggage conveyor belt!! We were not happy about that, we are accustomed to having the baggage guys there to take your luggage as soon as you hit the cruise port, then we were on a line for an hour although we had done all the check-in online as suggested needless to say we missed dinner that first night!! However once we were pass these two 'downers' it was on to enjoying our cruise and exploring new places we had only previously read about.

The ship although one of the older in the fleet was still up to RCi standards, clean, well maintained, Izumi restaurant is not to be missed, the food in the main dining room was excellent, had two of whatever we wanted whenever we could not decide. I would skip the Shore Excursions too expensive we found. The cruise director Michelle and her team were excellent. The Broadway shows we found were a little lacking but others found them excellent. I would recommend this cruise

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

Cabin clean was in the Large Interior Stateroom but we found it small, however there was everything you could need we were able to unpack fully and I had an outfit for each day!! yet my husband was able to find space and hangers for his stuff...LOL. Good lighting, very. comfortable.

Port Reviews

Katakolon (Olympia)

Got off the ship and got a bus tour right outside the port, lots of garbage lined the road all along the way, but beautiful city and Olympia was worth the trip.

Mykonos

Love, love, love Mykonos!!! the small streets, the seafront, we went to Paradise Beach just to compare with the beaches in the Caribbean...we have them beat!!!! But nice layout and vibe

Kusadasi

We took a taxi to Ephesus only we thought, but he had his tour well set up he took us to a jewelry shop, carpet making factory where we were given a tour, a store and another place where we drew the line and said 'No way'!!! He took us back to the port and we went to explore the Bazaar did not like it found the sales people aggressive at times. The restaurant person was clearly upset with us when all we wanted was a bottle of water for use of 'his' WiFi!!

Athens (Piraeus)

Again took a taxi from just outside the port nice guy took us all the places and back in good time to board the ship
