Cabin: Aqua Class

First Southbound Alaska Cruise of the Season. WE had a great experience. We were on the Millenium (3rd time) and we booked the AquaClass. This is the best decision we ever made. Main reason : The BLU restaurant. It was a feast every night without any discomfort or disappointment. A really well oiled machine with the best food available on the ship. We did not even hit the main dining room.

Our cabin was 9099, well done. The staff was nice without being too much in the way. There were a few hit and miss here and there, I will assume it has to do with communication. I may not have be specific in my demands.

The ports of call were nice, entertaining and not too crowded at this time of the year. One exception: SEWARD is a very deceptive and, frankly, really not the embarkation port you are expecting from Celebrity. We got there from Anchorage which is a Charming City with a lot to do and discover. We spent 3 nights there and I will go back for more. From Anchorage, we took the train to Seward. What a treat. Lots and lots of thing to see. Don't sweat too much about the breakfast in the dining room, not too good and mostly warm coffee. From the train in Seward, we were brought to the pier by buses. Then it started to go down from there. We were supposed to have priority boarding. We had to wait longer than the regular passengers. The crew taking care of moving the people were rude and definitely laughed at our "Priority Boarding Pass". Celebrity Cruises deserves better than SEWARD.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Nothing unusual. A lot of storage space and a nice balcony. A bit too cold to use the balcony.
