We chose this particular cruise as it left from Sydney, Australia. We had both wanted to see Australia and this was a way to see just a small potion of Australia with a cruise to other destinations thrown in as well. New Zealand, French Polynesia, and ending in Hawaii. With the idea of staying in Hawaii for several days. It would be three vacations rolled into one big trip.

Our stay in Sydney afforded us a small view of what Australia was about. We did a lot in just 5 days with tours that were 12 to 14 hours each day and we same a great deal, but barely scratched the surface. Sydney was, I believe the best for a short stay, an interesting and vibrant city.

Embarkation was the smoothest we have ever experienced boarding any cruise. The disembarkation in Hawaii was a complete and utter disaster on RCCL's part. It was the most and utterly confused process I have ever witnessed on any other RCCL ship or other cruise line.
