We chose this cruise because it gave us a chance to get away from snow and cold and the price was right. We had cruised on the Splendor once before out of LA and had a wonderful time.

Since the Splendor is no longer in Long Beach, we went with the Miracle. Our stateroom was wonderful as we upgraded to a suite. The ship was fine. The problem was the timing and selection of food in the buffet. One kind of food each day if you didn't want burgers or pizza. The open time of the selected food each day didn't seem to match our preference of times to eat. My husband said he would never go on Carnival again. I am sure if he had been willing to eat in the dining room we would have had good food but he doesn't like to dress up for meals.

Just a word to the wise if you like to eat causally in the buffet.

Cabin Review

Vista Suite

The cabin was the nicest one we have had on a cruise. It was very nice in size. It had an area with a large mirror and dressing table like feel with a bench for doing make-up or using a laptop. The closet was located here. The other room had the bathroom.

There was nice seating available along with the bed.
