We are fans of Celebrity Cruises. In fact it's the only line we've used in the last 10 years and we cruise every year. The ships are beautiful, the food is great and the service is exceptional - always! We've traveled with other cruise lines before - NCL, Princess, Costa, RCCL - and none compare in my book to the adult, sophisticated experience provided by Celebrity.
This cruise was to celebrate my 70th birthday and we got a suite for the first time. We usually book in Aqua Class because we love Blu, the specialty restaurant exclusively for Aqua Class passengers. No reservation required, the seem to know you after the first night, the wait staff is exceptional and the food is great. Let me tell you, the suite class restaurant, Aleana (sp?), is even better! It's like dining in a 4 star restaurant every night. We also love the Tuscan Grill.
The entertainment is good and there is a good variety, but we spend most of our time after dinner in the casino. It seems they always try to have smaller groups that play classical and/or jazz in addition to popular music around the ship. We also love the Martini Bar. That's were we start our our evenings.
Great spot at the rear corner of the ship with a large wrap-around balcony. King bed, seating area with sofa and chair next to a large port hole window. Marble bath including a tub, great amenities. One possible negative is a large round pillar in the middle of the room, but it didn't bother us at all. And the butler service was perfect. He knew just what to do and how to help us without being intrusive. All first rate.
