This was a sister cruise for the three of us. This was my 24th cruise and 5th with Carnival. The cabin was not set up for 3 people. For 3 days we had to request the third set of towels. When I opened the closet it was full of wet towels. Yuck! Housekeeping button on phone did not work. Dress code not enforced in dining room, shorts seemed to be the dress of the night, or Lido Deck where men just wore swim trunks to dine. There was a shortage of staff, tables did not get bussed as needed. As a gold member, I had received a free drink coupon on two of my cruises, this time I received a bottle of water! Received at letter that we had to have the cabin available between 9 and 2 the next day so new carpet could be installed. We refused! Others did not so we had to navigate the hallway filled with beds and smell the glue that was used. The day after, the other side of the hall was done. This should be done in drydock. I have never seen so many drunks, parties till 5am, continual shouting in the hallway, banging on doors.

The one bright spot was our waiter, Oliver. We had any time dining and requested to be seated in his area after he waited on us the first night. Great service!!!

It is not surprising that I have not received a survey from Carnival.
