Carnival Vista

Just got back from our fabulous cruise on the shiny new Carnival Vista!

Our small family included myself and my husband (DH) and our 8 year old daughter. This was our 9th cruise and our 3rd cruise with Carnival.

We had a great time! Carnival Vista is an excellent ship for families. This was an amazing cruise and my most favorite cruise so far. The ship has so many features that we were not able to fully experience because of our busy itinerary. Eight days flew by so fast and we were so sad to leave.

Ocean Suite

Cabin OS

We were in Stateroom 7254. Ocean Suite with Large Balcony (category OS).

Loved our stateroom and I wish we had more time to enjoy it. The stateroom size is very roomy and comfortable for our family of 3.

The stateroom has a roomy walk-in closet, sofa bed for our daughter and armchair, full bathroom with shower and whirlpool tub combo (and glass doors) and double sinks.

The storage space was good but not enough to put all our stuff. We spent two weeks travelling around Europe before the cruise so we had to pack more stuff than usual. I'm most people will have enough storage space for a regular 7-10 night cruises.

Considering the long port days, we did not use the balcony that much. I took a relaxing nap in our balcony during the only sea day we have and I did not notice any noise. The balcony door was heavy (slammed it accidentally a few times at first, sorry) I got used to it after the first day but I would prefer to have a sliding door.
