My first and biggest problem was with RC customer service. We booked a room with an ocean view window that was about 3-4 ft across as shown on their web site and paid 3 or 4 hundred dollars extra for this over an inside cabin. What we got was a small maybe 15 inch porthole so high up you could not see out of it unless you were standing in the middle of the room. Thinking this must be a mistake we stood in line for about an hour to talk to a customer service rep. They told us this was no mistake and basically it was just our bad luck and nothing would be done (after trying multiple arguments that put the fault on us). When I pointed out this was misrepresentation of their product they agreed and ended the conversation. We then went to the Nextcruise kiosk thinking I could find out if they are in fact selling those cabins at a lower rate and just over charging us and were met with an identical response including a smug, condescending grin. I also responded to their online survey with my complaints and was never contacted with an apology or offer of compensation of any kind.

Aside from that the cabin was akin to an small RV. I sailed once on Carnival before with the cheapest room possible and it was more spacious with a much better bathroom. Also the public spaces were very narrow and crowded with little to do (maybe 5-6 shops). Most of the activities revolved around seminars where they are trying sell you something. The library literally had 4 books in English, 2 of which I had read. The shows were nice but only 1 hr long and the second they started they began blasting freezing air so by half way through it was about 65 deg. Everyone was complaining of being so cold. The pool deck was so crowded that trying to find a chair was like trying to find a parking space at the mall the day before Christmas. Many of the restaurants are not included in the price of ticket and if you have "my time" dining good luck getting a reservation before 8:30. The food in both the restaurant and the buffet was inconsistent with it being very good for some items or some days and very bad others.

Oceanview Stateroom

Not sure if it was I or H. I'm sure there wasn't this many choices on their web site. I reviewed the room in main review.
