My wife & I chose to take our teenage son on this family cruise out of New Orleans. We had a very smooth boarding process. We settled in quickly & enjoyed the ship immediately. The staff was amazing-- totally dedicated & wonderful to us the whole trip. We enjoyed our at Sea Days on the Boat all most more than our Port Days. We enjoyed snorkeling in Cozumel & an excursion to see the ruins in Progreso. Our guide was Victor, who is a Mayan, he had lots of great info for us. We didn't have any of the bad experiences that we had read about on this site. We were really doubting our decision of picking this cruise & this ship after reading all the awful reviews. But, after such wonderful experiences we decided that a trip is what you make of it-- we went to have fun & we did! The Paris dining room waiter's at table 629-- they were so much fun, professional, & amazing. We loved the food-- the deserts were awesome!! Late night Room service was AMAZING!!!! Susila, Stateroom steward, He helped me keep medicine cold the entire trip & was so nice. Mike, Jake, Simon, & Bob-- From the Fun Crew-- They went above & beyond to insure that everyone was joining in & having fun! They were the life of the Sea Days. Olga was a very friendly bar keep at the Capital Bar. She was lots of fun also! My son loved the O2 for teens!! Between the O2, mini golf, the pool, movies, & friends he made.... he slept for 2 days when we got home!

Triumph was a triumph!!

Beds & pillows were great! We had the best stateroom steward! Plenty of storage room, closet room, hangers, & pretty much as expected.

  • Cozumel
We took a taxi for $10 each way to a bar called the Money Bar. It was excellent food with a private beach area that we brought our own snorkeling stuff & enjoyed the water. They also rent everything there too. Chairs, tables, beach, wonderful service & food-- we ate & had beers all for like $50 bucks. The whole thing cost us like $75 bucks for the 3 of us. Great day!!

We went on the one that was like a 30 min bus ride away. Plenty to see & very interesting-- cenote was cool but didn't look like much to swim in to us. Super hot-- like crazy hot!! Bring sunscreen, water, & bug spray for sure!! Food upstairs was pretty good-- just so hot it was kinna hard to have much of an appetite. Make sure to bring tips for tour guides & bus driver!
