We are first-time cruisers with Norwegian and just completed a 7-day sail from Miami to St. Thomas, Tortola, and Nassau. We sailed with our daughters and another couple.

Our experience was fantastic, so I wanted to pass on some tips to make your stay even more memorable. There are a lot of great things about the Escape that you can find in their brochures, so I'm going to provide you with the tips that aren't talked about. There is no particular priority to these topics, but I wanted to pass them along to help improve your vacation.

1. Book a PORT side room (left side of the boat). This allows you the best views when sailing into or away from each port destination.
