Cabin: The Haven Forward-facing Penthouse with Balcony

The Escape is a beautiful new ship with great amenities. The water slides and sports activities are the best we have ever seen on any cruise ship. The ship is crowded and finding a space to lay in the sun and relax is a bit of a problem. The Haven is a special treat for those who can afford a penthouse. The Haven restaurant is the best I have ever eaten at. Cagneys was a little slow on service time but great quality. La Bistro was remarkable.

The ports were below standard but we knew this when we selected the cruise. St Thomas is always great but Tortola and Nassau were a disappointment. The entertainment was geared more to a younger crowd and not to our liking with the exception of "oh what a night". We started out cruising with carnival and switched to Norwegian because we felt we needed something more suited to our taste. Norwegian is great but it appears it is starting to cater more to the family versus the couples. All in all, great cruise.

Be patient with the kids running around having fun and you should be great.

Cabin Review

The Haven Forward-facing Penthouse with Balcony

Cabin H7

This cabin is fantastic. Small balcony with bridge wing overhang. Forward facing window in master bedroom. Maria was excellent butler and room steward was great. All of our needs were met with smiles and great service. very large stateroom.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

St Thomas is one of our favorite ports. Wished we could have been there for all the port visits. Took the ferry to St. Johns on this trip. Rented a car and snorkel gear. Snorkeled several of the secluded beaches. Great day!!!!!!!!

Tortola

Rented a car and drove the entire island. Saw some beautiful views but not as impressed with this port as many others.

Nassau

We have never been very excited with Nassau. Took a horse and carriage ride then did some shopping. Bought some nice jewelry for the wife and headed back to the ship.
