Sail Date: Jun 2016

We had cruised for a number of years. About three years ago we went on P& O for 17 nights. We had been two years before. The price had gone up quite a lot. As soon as we got on board you could see the difference. The standard of food had dropped considerably. There were many complaints and it did improve a bit. When you arrived in port you were constantly rushing. They do not put times as other companies. They put morning for example and you have to search through and see what this means. Usually that you won't be spending much time in port! They want you on the ship spending money. I t really put us off..

As soon as we got on Celebrity we were amazed by the buffet. Many American ships have too much steak for dinner but there was a good choice.. We went in the Asian restaurant on the last night. The food was great and we had the most amazing view sailing up the Turkish coast. The trips were all good and were not rushed. Plenty of time for drinks and comfort breaks. Our only complaint was that we had to get up too early and they changed some. It's not the same having wine and mezzes at 9 30 in the morning! We also had plenty of time in ports. We were in Mykonos till 10 at night and able to enjoy dinner at the harbour. It was a good time to go as it was not too hot
