Some of the reasons that we chose this cruise was because of the ports since we had not been to Ireland nor had we been to Norfolk, VA or Cherbourg in France. But the other part is just that we like to cruise and the transatlantic answers that. This was our 2nd transatlantic and we met some great people and there was plenty to do plus we got hooked on Trivia. It had been a long time since we had been on RCL and I was pleasantly surprised. Very easy to find your way around with the little directional interactional maps that they have on each deck .

We are now booked on another RCL Med cruise, the Rhapsody of the Seas in October 2016 which we booked because it had great ports plus it was going to do a transatlantic but unfortunately RCL canceled that portion. I think they chartered the ship out so we booked NCL out of Barcelona.

Port Reviews

Cobh (Cork)

What can you say about Ireland. They are fun loving happy people and it rubs off on everyone. You haven't lived until you have been to an Irish pub

Brugge (Bruges)

We have been to Brugge before and we did a canal cruise on our own which was great.

Norfolk

The thing that made this a great port is that I had the opportunity to see my three great grand children for the first time.

Tampa

The west coast of Florida is great
