Cabin: Large Spa Ocean-View Stateroom

Decided to treat ourselves and have Holland meet us at the airport, take us to a hotel, pick us up the next day, bring us to the ship, and at the end of the trip take us to the airport. A bit pricey, but well worth it.Cabin and food are average, but suggest booking the free Merabel restaurant for dinners, as you will soon tire of the Fontana buffet. We use Holland because there are usually few kids and many seniors with whom we have much to discuss. The cruise left Rotterdam, south past Spain and Portugal, through the Straits of Gibralter, and back to Rotterdam. Our excursion ratings follow:

1)A Cortona and Betanzos: beautiful scenery, 2 14th C.churches,free time,tapas,4 stars.

2)Fado and Tapas: Native food and dancing. Both excellent. 4 stars.

Cabin Review

Large Spa Ocean-View Stateroom

Cabin is adequate, but nothing special. The bed is excellent, but the weather did not allow us to use the balcony at all.. Take this into consideration when and if you book a room with a balcony.

Port Reviews

La Coruna
