Our kids are 10 & 8 years old and we figured it was time to do a Disney cruise before they were too old to appreciate the Disney characters. Overall the cruise on the Fantasy was very nice. The ship is beautiful and easy to get around: they have diagrams of the ship at every set of elevators that show you where you are. Good idea!

1) We enjoyed all the shows. I would say the magic, comedy, juggling & ventriloquist shows were great. The musicals (which are generally Disney themed) were more of a mixed bag. If you show up 10 - 15 min early you can get excellent seats.

2) The two pools on the main outdoor deck were small & way overcrowded at times. This may be the biggest deficiency for this boat. The slide (AquaDuck) was fun but not as exciting as most rides at water parks.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah

Cabin 04C

This room was great. I can honestly say the 4 of us did not feel cramped in this room. The bunk bed swinging down from the ceiling saves space and is fun for the kids. The split bathroom (toilet with sink is separate from shower with sink) is convenient. And the balcony is a great place to store stuff (like beach toys, empty suitcases etc.) Lots of drawer space. The 7th deck is a good place to be. I would definitely get this room again
