Sail Date: Jul 2016
Cabin: Balcony, sheltered

The opportunity to sail on the Queen Mary 2 was the appeal. We sailed from New York to Halifax, stopped in Boston, then back to New York. The cruise was thoroughly enjoyable.

The QM2 was just remastered and I was wondering if the pictures I saw of on the web would live up to expectations in reality. They did.

Stateroom: our stateroom was on the 11th deck with a balcony and it was exactly as depicted in the advertising pictures. Everything was very clean and fresh and the stateroom was roomy with an adequate bathroom (shower). also adequate storeage for our dresses.

Cabin Review

Balcony, sheltered

Cabin BC

Twin beds, plenty of space to move around, nice open glass doors to balcony added to the feeling of space. A small couch with table and desk. plenty of storage area and the bathroom was adequate, not cramped. Everything felt new. Beds were soft and pillows very soft. The service was excellent. Had room service for breakfast and it was prompt.

Had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us on our arrival, nice touch.
