First time on Viking, but I have been on many other ocean and river cruises. Viking is pricey, but decided to try them due to included wine, beer and most excursions. Viking delivered in terms of personal service, delicious foods, organization, beautiful ship and great itinerary. Viking did not deliver in terms of included wines. They tasted like water, so we had to buy wines at local stores. This is one of the main reasons why I did not rate the cruise as excellent. For that price, you should get decent wine.

The staff was magnificent. The cocktails were excellent. The excursions were great.

It would be nice if Viking had some tables for two or four in the main dining room for those of us who do not want to repeat our life stories to strangers every day.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

Very small, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Appreciate the fridge.
