this was our 4th cruise with Thompson we choose them as we always feel we get value for money

from our 1st day we really started to enjoy ourselves as embarkation ran very smoothly and our cases were at our cabin before us enabling us to unpack and change into our swimwear before exploring the ship. we had lunch and then went to deck 10 for a bit of sunshine and our 1st cocktail of the day, while at the bar we were surprised to be recognised by the barman who had served us 6 years ago on a different ship and warmly welcomed us and he even remembered our names. any staff that we came in contact with were very polite cheerful and helpful nothing was to much trouble for them .

the food was plentiful and I can honestly say every dish we had was beautiful resulting in a 4lb weight gain when I returned home. we had an inside cabin and found it adequate and comfortable and clean for the duration of our cruise as we only used it for sleeping and getting washed and changed so if your looking a hotel sized room book a suite.
