Embarkation was a nightmare. Waited well over an hour in a hot terminal with minimal attention and supervision by Cunard who only cared about their status customers.

The published itinerary was misleading; stated that we would be in Boston on July 4 & 5 but we had to be back on the ship by 11:45pm on July 4 and the ship left the dock at 12:15am on the 5th. We went to the Pursers Office to speak to a supervisor but were kept waiting for over a half hour and when it was obvious that there was only one supervisor for 2,600+ passengers! we gave up. Another irate passenger told us that he tried to talk to the supervisor 5 times to no avail. The marketing materials showed fireworks surrounding the ship but we were berthed very far from the location on the Charles River. The crew had no idea when the fireworks started and there was no music piped in on the upper decks where the passengers watched the fireworks.

The remastering of the ship was very well done and the ship rivals a high end Las Vegas hotel but I didn't consider the treatment of passengers to be luxurious. We have stayed in Rosewood and Ritz Carltons worldwide and this was more like a Marriot. There is no water provided in the cabins other than for a price. Internet service was ludicrously priced and was pathetic.
