My husband and I planned this cruise of the Baltic capitals to celebrate our tenth anniversary. We cruise for the itinerary. We chose the Norwegian Star for both the price (which wasn't cheap, but cheaper than some other options) and for the ports (Wärenmunde/Berlin, Tallin, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, and Stockholm). The embarkation process was very smooth. We didn't have to wait in any lines and were able to board the ship as soon as we checked in.

We had an inside stateroom. It felt slightly smaller than our inside staterooms on Carnival, but it was fine, and the shower was a little larger than normal. We don't spend very much time in our stateroom, anyway.

We had downloaded the Norwegian iConcierge app. Unfortunately, it was not very helpful. The activities listed were often wrong, it did not show restaurant menus liked it claimed to do, and it had no way to set up your own schedule. A feature in which you could have liked activities or added them to your own planner would have been nice. Overall, it was a waste of space on our phones.

The cabin was slightly smaller than usual, but was fine. The shower was actually a little larger.
