Cabin: Interior Stateroom

We only choose to travel with MSC and this is the first time that we would rate it lower than "very good or excellent". The entertainment quality was nowhere near as good as usual this included the nightly show and also at the different venues on the ship.

Quality of food was also not up to the usual standard.

The other issue was the noise around our cabin, which took them until day 3 to rectify as best they could. I would recommend NOT to stay in cabin 10080 as the plumbing and staff services access were directly behind the cabin.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin I1

The cabin backed onto a service area and had constant noise of the plumbing (toilets flushing) and doors slamming. Not much sleep was had. The staff did rectify the doors slamming, but this took 3 days before any improvement. I would recommend not to book this cabin.

Port Reviews

Bari

You can wander the city. Siesta time when the ship docks.

Katakolon (Olympia)

Taxi to Olympia used lonely planet guide to tour the area

Santorini

We walked up the steps and took the local bus to Oia 1.80 euro walked down the stairs and went for a swim. Just beautiful walked around Oia caught the local bus back and wandered the streets of Fira.

Athens (Piraeus)

Subway from the port to Acropolis. No traffic worries and easy to do. You beat the ship tour crowds by doing this too! Also see change of guards at midday.

Corfu

Wander the city see the old fort and have a swim just down from the fort.

Kotor

Do the climb up to the fort as soon as you can get off the ship - when the walk is still in the shade. Well worth it. Then wander the old city.

Venice

The bridge from the train station across to the port (and the people mover) is difficult as there is only steps and no ramp for your luggage.
