This was my second NCL cruise and seventh overall. As with my previous NCL cruise, there was good value for the money but not the best cruise line I have ever sailed. I sailed with my boyfriend, no kids.

Getting on and off the ship was easy. There were many many agents for embarkation, and we elected to handle our own luggage and walk off the ship. We spent time before and after in Barcelona, so no transfers.

The Epic is a huge ship that can carry 4000 passengers. After the first day, the ship did not feel overwhelming, and I rarely felt overcrowded. Then again, we stuck to the adults-only pool. The ship is in good shape, clean, and there are directories everywhere.
