Sail Date: Jun 2016

We left out of Port Canaveral on the Carnival Valor on June 25.

We stayed in a balcony room on Deck 6. We were above the casino and after 17 cruises, we now know to be very careful about booking a room over an area that is noisy.

Let me start by saying I am not a person that is hard to please at all. My husband and I are platinum and have been loyal to Carnival. The positive-bartenders at the bars that you walk up to were always attentive and fast. Staff did great about clearing dishes and cleaning tables on Lido. We were not impressed with our stateroom attendant. From what we could tell he was good about having everyone under him do the work. This cruise had to call for cleaning service twice. One night sand was all through the room and it wasn’t vacuumed so I had to call housekeeping at 10 p.m. to have that taken care of. Very disappointed.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

embarkation very smooth

Aruba

Rented a jeep from Jay's. It was great adventuring the island. Loved Eagle Beach and Baby Beach. Watch out for Boa constrictors.

Grand Turk

Hung out at Jack's shack. Beautiful beach.
