Hope this review is in the right category as there was no category for Norther Europe. Sailed out of Southampton and visited a number of excellent cities including Oslo, Copenhagen, Tallin, St. Petersburg, Helsinki and Bruge. Weather was lovely almost every day of the cruise, much to my surprise and delight. The Navigator is a big ship and nicely appointed. I thought the RCL staff was friendly and helpful. The Windjammer Cafe is chaotic at times and the food is just okay. Dinner in the Sapphire Dining Room was much better. We opted for My Time Dining and never had to wait for a table.

The production shows were poor. However, two of the headliner acts were excellent and the ice show was very good. We booked this cruise because I wanted to see St. Petersburg. This historic Russian city did not disappoint. We booked a two-day excursion and packed in such famous places as Catherine's Palace, the Hermitage, Petershof and Peter and Paul's fortress. This is an amazing city. Going to a Russian ballet was the icing on the cake. Be sure to attend the ballet if you go on a trip like this.

We also enjoy Tallin, a walled medieval town with twisty, cobblestone streets. The other ports of call were amazing, too. Every stop was like a bright new jewel to be examined and appreciated.
