We chose this cruise as other family members were also going on it. sadly it didn't live up to our expectations. The ship itself was nice very clean and comfy furniture, it was the whole experience that was disappointing, from the food to the entertainment it was very budget.

We found the food at the buffet was very budget the soups were either so salty or spicy you couldn't eat them, the burgers out by the pool were nice, but you can't eat burgers for 10 days, also they closed buffet stations down when the place was packed so there would be long lines everywhere, also if you were unlucky enough to feel like a piece of toast the toasters are so old it took about 5 minutes to cook your toast, the best meal we had in 10 days was the steak we paid $25 ea to have!!!!

Entertainment: The cast entertainment was fantastic very professional they looked like they were having a good time, however the nights the cast weren't on and they had other entertainers what a low class budget act one Mr&Mrs Smith they were so pathetic people just walked out. The comedy club entertainers were funny and good value. For daytime entertainment unless you are into trivia in a big way there's not much else to do. The Cruise director Eli falls very short of being fun we got the impression he does just what he has to no more !!

The staff were friendly and helpful we were given stateroom 8265 which has terrible reviews that it certainly lived up to, it has the pool pumps on the other side of the wall the noise is terrible, however after putting up with the noise in that room for 3 days we complained and were moved, my problem is when we were allocated that room before we boarded we rung both the travel agent cruise Republic and Carnival to ask if we could be allocated another stateroom we were told the ship was full and we could only move if we paid for a upgrade, which was obviously untrue because we were moved to the same class of stateroom 3 days into the cruise as 8265 just wasn't noisy. If Carnival cared about their guests they wouldn't sell this room at all.
