My family decided to have a reunion aboard the MSC Divina this year. About 30 of us went. Many of us are cruising veterans having traveled extensively with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Celebrity, etc...
After reading online reviews and watching some videos about the ship we were all really excited. But then reality set in.
Full disclosure: I've worked in luxury hospitality since 1992. My entire career has been with 4 and 5 Star hotel properties. As such, I have a pretty solid understanding of what good service is and what it takes to deliver it. Being in the industry as long as I have I also understand that mistakes happen. Things occasionally go wrong and I have more patience than most when they do. But too many things went wrong this week.
