I wanted to cruise through the Panama Canal so we booked the Insignia. It is an older ship but is well accommodated and refurbished recently. We enjoyed the cruise. The only negative was the internet. It was supposed to be free for the concierge level but was only 500 min. and when you use it it doesn't work at all well. It takes forever to get on and then you have trouble signing off . This happened 3 times. I could not get my ipad to work without going the the internet room. I have never had this problem on my previous cruises. they need to fix their system.

the Panama Canal was very interesting and there was a good speaker about it and several tv shows on the history. I would have liked more speakers about the area we were sailing in and more bridge games on sea days.
