Selected ship because we wanted to begin in Rome allowing us a few days in Rome prior to embarkation. Use Princess Air (Delta) and had no issues. Tickets assigned in enough time to get comfort seats. No issues. Embarkation and Disembarkation were very fast and smooth.

They had a young Italian tenor singing in the Atrium prior to departure...beautiful way to start a cruise. Ship is large but did not feel the crowds except for elevators. New ship and decor was simple and elequent. Cabin (C-532)/Balcony was nice but a little small but as with any European cruise don't spend much time in cabin because your up and out on excursions. Food, service and entertainment above average. We bought our excursions (princess) in advance. I thought the excursions were excellent. All our excursions had transmitters so you could hear and enjoy the many sites we visited.

This was our first European cruise. The only thing different we would have done is booked at least two (14 day)or three (21 day) legs. Most passengers did at least two legs/14 days.
