Came back yesterday 7/2 from our 1st cruise ever. Escape made that experience exceed our expectations. Only reason I did not give Excellent 5 star rating was due to the pools. The fact that there is only 1 main pool on a ship that size is insulting. Ok, now onto the good stuff. Boarding was very quick. In fact we were able to board 2 1/2 hours early. The mini suite was just as advertised. Roomy with large balcony and bathroom. 2 sinks and shower with 8 jets was nice touch. Our room was made up,several times a day and was very clean. The food was better then expected. Had the upgraded dining package and was treated to some fine meals. Even the complementary dining was above par. Only ate in buffet a few times for breakfast but it was very good. Food Republic is a must. Very reasonable for high quality food and a unique experience. Also had the drink package which honestly is a no brainier. You literally could get any drink (beer/alcohol) you wanted. And I mean anything! EVERY brand of beer available. I couldn't believe it. This took top shelf to another level. In fact, we have been to several high end all inclusive resorts and the food drink on the escape exceeded those incredible experiences.

The spa was included with our package and we took advantage of the amenities. Their pools, hot tubs, etc were unbelievable. Took a few naps in their loud lounge and heated chairs. Really felt pampered there. Unfortunately I had a stone massage that was sub par at best but they did credit my account 1/2 the fee. Nice customer service as the spa mgr was very accommodating.

Constant entertainment and activities on board. Fun to watch the activities. One night we watched the comedian show and he was very funny. Also the saw The Brat Pack. Actually felt like I was watching a NY show. It really was AWESOME! The singing and dancing was very good. What a fun show to end the night. Read more
