My husband and I have had a visit to the Galapagos on our bucket list for a long time. Nearly two years ago, we decided to book the 10 day package to the Galapagos on Celebrity Xpedition. We really wanted to find a less expensive option so over the time since we booked out cruise, we kept looking at alternatives. Every time we saw an option that was less than what we were paying and compared it, we realized how good the Celebrity package was. But actually we didn't even begin to know how good it was until we actually experienced it.

We flew from Florida to Quito, the capital of Ecuador. We were met there by the Celebrity representative and transferred to the JW Marriott in Quito for two nights. While we were in Quito all over food, tours and transfers were included.

The next morning we met our tour guides in the lobby, along with others in our group. We had an all day tour of the city and a trip to equator where we experienced several natural phenomena that only occurs in this location. This was a really fun experience. That Evening we were transported to a lovely restaurant where we got to interact with others in our group and an opportunity to get to know them better.
