Small intimate ship. The crew and dining staff, in some cases, the same people, were OUTSTANDING. The shore excursions were highly entertaining, especially when swimming in the Amazon, the water was FABULOUS. We also kayaked and trekked through the rain forests. Breakfast early in the morning was unbelievable on our small boats then off to see the pink dolphins. The guides allowed us to hold snakes and lizards. We went fishing for piranha which we learned a lot about, not as dangerous as portrayed on the screen. Our guides were from the area and soooo knowledgeable. It was truly an adventure while being in the lap of luxury. We did not want for anything. Sunscreen/pest spray always available. Rain gear, hats, towels always ready for the taking. Met many of the indigenous people and visited a couple of schools. We did not school supplies and gifts for the children. I must say that Iquitos the city where we boarded our boat is a World Heritage Site. It is the largest landlocked city in the world!
