We took a cruise on the Carnival Fantasy for a family reunion. The length of the cruise for perfect for first time cruisers. The ship is older and you tell by the decor. The cabins are okay, the rooms could have been cleaner, I could see little hand prints all over the walls. There is no soundproofing in the cabins as noted around 3:00 in the morning when my neighbor decided to have a sex marathon. The lido for dining was crowded and one of my family members found a long hair in her sandwich, she reported it to the chefs and they promised her a gift, but she never received it. The Jubilee is hidden, a little hard to get to, but once your there, the entertainment was nice and the dining experience was great. Our waiter Manik was awesome, very attentive. The comedy shows were great and the karaoke was definitely worth the trip. Overall service was average, I'm use to the service I receive on Royal Caribbean cruise line. The port was okay, I've been to Bahamas about 5 times and the merchants are becoming more aggressive, if I go again, I think that I will skip the port and hang out on the ship. One nice thing I experienced on this ship was Guy Fieri burgers, Delicious!

Port Reviews

Miami

Miami port was very smooth process we were on the ship within 30 minutes.

Nassau

Very pushy vendors and merchants, will definitely skip in the future and just hang out on the ship.
