Cabin: Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

We choiced this cruise because of the itinerary. We've always wanted to see the Norwegian Fjords.

We got the ultimate drink and dinning packages. The wine choices were very iimited with less than average quality. We felt we were nickeled and dimed to death when the ultimate drink package does not include bottled water; $6+ per liter bottle. The food choices were plentiful, but the quality varies from restaurant to restaurant, and from each visit. You can order lobsters at the specialty restaurants without any surcharge, but you'll have to pay $24.99 more if you order a lobster at a regular restaurant. What?

Most of the shore excursions were poorly organized. Standing in long lines and fighting to get on buses, so that my husband and I can sit together is not my idea of a fun vacation.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SF

We stayed in the aft facing penthouse #8670, directly below the Spinneker lounge. DO NOT stay here, unless you like to party till 2:00a or 2:30a. Even if you are deaf, you can still feel the vibrations from below. The wraparound balcony is a joke. The 2 chaises can barely fit horizontally on the back deck, and the wraparound part of the deck can fit an average size person to walk by; forget about sitting down.
