I been on a couple cruises with Carnival to Canada already. Sunshine is a refurnished smaller ship than the four other Carnival ships I been on.. They added more rooms took away other stuff. But did not realized the dining and Lido Buffet could not handle the over flowed. It was annoying where you had to go to 5th floor to get a page to be call to the dinning room on the 3rd fl and both time having to wait on line. Buffet was nicely done Deli be best, the Pizza crap. But with the hundreds of people a lot of yelling match broke out. You had to go into the Havana Bar for extra seats. Guy's Burger a must have. But the food is a matter of taste you have. I stick to little and the basic food groups and Deli sandwiches..
Ji Ji Asian and Cucina del Capitano (Italian) and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse are all excellent and worth the extra month. I was able to get 14oz Steakhouse steal for my meal in the dining room meal for $20 is was super.
They put a large water park on the top pack for the kids, Hoops and other sports were there also. and a kiddie pool They had Dr .Seuss stuff for the kids and a club so the kids are well taken care of that for sure.

Room are good. Beds were ok. Bathroom no problem, shower OK. TV most channels down and no movies to order that service was not offer. But the outdoor movies were running first rate movies and you had the bars. But get there early to get a seat. They are free. The Room porters work they tail off and could not thank them enough. Give extra tips they sure earn it.

I been there before the tent and Mail is right there. So we always go in there to shop the city market in a little more walk. This the Fresh food products.
New York (Manhattan)
Getting on in New York is a Breeze. There are crowds. But make it a point to get there very early. I park on the pier cost me $200 for 5 days. 7 days probably $340.
Getting off is fast if you bring your own bags off yourself. Took up 15 minutes t get off through custom and to my car and home within 30 minutes. I was home at 9AM
