I am really baffled by the negative reviews for Eden. We have just cruised the WA coast from Fremantle to Broome return. Boarding was a breeze. The staff were delightful. Very helpful and happy. Some were a bit slow but as they were in training that is to be expected. We all have to start somewhere. The décor was very pleasant. Loved The Ocean Bar and the waitresses Danielle and Camille were just a pleasure to deal with. So many passengers were complaining about the food but just as many of us were quite satisfied with the meals. The Waterfront was lovely. Not sure what the complainers were wanting but got the impression nothing would have satisfied them. Disembarking for ports by tender was well organized.

Unfortunately 2 of our ports were cancelled due to high seas but you can't control Mother Nature. The staff quickly got activities sorted to cover the extra time at sea. Entertainment was plentiful throughout the ship with different styles. Our cabin was on Deck 9 in a balcony suite. Our cabin crew David and Hernani kept it very clean and comfy. No request was too much for them and they were always happy and cheerful. My elderly mother also travelled with us in her own cabin. She was treated with a lot of care and respect which helped us greatly.

Disembarking at the end of the cruise was also a breeze. So on the whole we were very satisfied with the ship. I think a lot of complainers maybe expect way too much from a budget cruise especially the ones who have cruised on the bigger ships. We found it great value for money. No cruise (this is our 4th) runs 100%. Any problems that occurred during the 9 days was quickly fixed.
